About Olivia
The first typewriter came in a suitcase.
Olivia M. Gale asked her parents for a typewriter when she was nine because handwritten stories did not look sufficiently professional. The first was mechanical and came in an enormous suitcase. A second typewriter followed. Her mother was her first—and extremely enthusiastic—reader.
Long before Olivia knew that fanfiction was a word, she was writing it. Original stories followed. She continued to read and write throughout her life, while publication remained a distant possibility rather than a practical next step.
Some of the characters she writes today have been with her for nearly two decades. Their stories have changed as she has, but the people at their center were always the reason to return.
For a long time, Olivia thought she wrote about strong women who could walk away from situations that asked them to accept less than they deserved. She was right. She simply hadn’t noticed that she was also writing situationships: relationships that become real before the people inside them are ready to define them.

Who processes the information?
Kit, Inc. provides the subscription form, subscriber storage, and email delivery services as a data processor. Subscriber information may be processed in the United States and other countries under the safeguards described in Kit's Data Processing Addendum.

How long is it kept?
Subscription information is kept while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, limited information may be retained to honour your opt-out, respond to requests, resolve delivery issues, or meet legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time.
Cookies and analytics
The embedded Kit form uses a cookie to recognise whether it has previously been submitted. Emails may use a small tracking image and tracked links to measure delivery, opens, and clicks.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is used to understand aggregate visits and site performance. It does not use cookies or local storage for analytics and is not used to track individual visitors over time. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies for security and bot protection.
Your choices and rights
You may ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a portable copy of your information. You may also withdraw your consent and complain to the data protection authority in your country.
